ABOUT SibuGranada

Hi there, my name is Dora and I live in Hungary on a beautiful farm with my husband.

Since childhood I have been very fond of horses and all animals in general. In 2006, horseback riding became a central part of my life as well. I have since founded my own equestrian brand to create horseback riding equipment tailored to the unique and special needs riders. It is made of very high- quality special purpose rope.

For me personally, quality has always been and will always remain the most important aspect of my products; even more so than volume production. It is also of great importance to me that my clients personal preferences are also attained and is something I focus on.

Out of these principals my brand came to be, a brand that guarantees quality and professional robustness for the demanding rider and of course looking good/stylish while doing so.

All my products are handmade by me with great care. The products are made from Italian and Hungarian made HT polyester braided rope which is the highest quality available.

How to clean?

Only use as intended!

The products are made from Italian and Hungarian made HT polyester braided rope which is the highest quality available.

SibuGranada products can be washed in a washer, but only at a max. temperature of 80-90 °F. and on programs for delicates.

The best way to clean is in the washer! All you need are some pillowcases with string ties or mesh bags that you generally use for washing delicates in, along with biodegradable washing powder. To remove serious stains,  give them a light rub down with a mix of 4 parts warm water and 1 part eucalyptus oil. You could also put a few drops of eucalyptus oil into the machine before filling if you have a horse with infectious skin problems, or use the gear on a range of horses. This natural oil has an anti-bacterial and cleansing action. Put the products in a mesh bag or pillowcase tied at the top. Put the bags in your top or front load machine and wash on a warm/cold cycle (never hot) using a biodegradable washing powder. The delicates cycle is best.

Never use bleach! Never use  fabric conditioner as  it will make the rope too soft and floppy! Do not tumble dry or use a dryer! To dry, simply hang it out on a line! If you’d rather not use a washing machine, you can simply hand wash the product without the need to use mesh bags. Soak in cold or warm water for at least an hour then use a small scrubbing brush or a nail brush to clean off the sweat and dirt.

Regular cleaning will keep your rope tack looking great, smelling sweet and make it last a whole lot longer!
